The Georg Jensen Daisy collection apparently used to be really popular among older (much older, like in their 80s) Danish women. After a marked fade in popularity and years of style hibernation (stylebernation?), it has been redesigned to be more colorful and have more design options (diamonds, white and yellow gold, etc.) and is currently experiencing a resurgence among women of all ages. It is huge in Denmark once again. I personally don't see what all the hype is about. It's fine but rather young looking, I think. Not really my style, though I have Danish friends and colleagues that wear it, pull it off, and look great.

I'm about to get the bracelet and pendant for my birthday, I think they're stunning but like you said, some people pull it off more than others
